Our History
Rex heating and Air was started by HVAC instructor James Adams in 1985. Offering quality equipment and prompt reliable service, he built his business one customer at a time. Before long, Rex became a premier heating and air conditioning company in the New Orleans area. Jimmy instilled a belief that customers are more like family and was always there day or night for them. He leaves behind lasting memories to all who met him. His vision of Rex Heating and Air still thrives in his son Jimmy, who now manages Rex.
Our Current Rex Family
Being family owned and operated, Rex is managed by Jimmy Adams III. Jimmy worked alongside his father for the past 14 years. He brings a new youthful energy and desire to maintain the Rex Difference in the heating and cooling industry. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree and Jimmy plans on continuing the level of customer service that Rex has been known for.
